Michelle Spriggs Trio

Michelle Spriggs. The South Wests first Jazz singer Michelle Spriggs hails from NZ, with a Bachelor of Music from Canterbury University. Her initial visit to Margaret River was meant to be a stop off on the way to Melbourne. She fell in love with the place and found there was a big demand for Jazz musicians in the region.

Her thirteen-year career in the Margaret River region has seen her perform at many venues, events and weddings. Leeuwin Estate Concert being one of her highlights. Opening for Carol King, Chris Issak, Diana Krall are on her extensive list of top profile shows. Spriggs mixes Jazz standards with Soul, Bossa Nova and Jazzed up pop tunes. Her performance is polished and professional with a touch of originality to keep things exiting.

David Rastrick - Trumpet + Bass. West Australian jazz trumpeter, vocalist, song-writer and multi-instrumentalist has over twenty years performance experience in many styles, with literally hundreds of bands and thousands of shows, either as a versatile side-person or band-leader. The natural environment and community of South West WA inspire much of David's original music. Musically David has a special love for both jazz classics and original compositions in classic jazz styles, or fusions of jazz-reggae and world-jazz.

A specialist in writing, arranging and producing songs for a long list of clients, Sean's passion for songwriting is evident in his mastery of a wide range of styles, both as a producer and performer in a number of bands and as a vocalist and solo artist.
